Solitary places can be used by God or Satan
The man “had been driven by the demon into solitary places” (v. 29). Jesus also valued solitary places. In Mark 6:31 Christ said to the disciples, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” We all need times of solitude to spend with God, but our times of isolation can be used by the enemy as well. If we isolate ourselves from the support of others Satan can have a field day.
