THE GRECIAN EMPIRE / THE ROMAN EMPIRE

• The belly and thighs made of bronze (Daniel 2:32, 39)
Historical fulfillment: The Grecian Empire, 331–63 B.C.
Famous ruler: Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great conquered as many worlds as he knew to conquer; and he wept because there was nothing left to conquer. He died in his early 30s at a very early age.

• The legs made of iron (Daniel 2:33, 40-43)
Historical fulfillment: The Roman Empire, 63 B.C.-A.D. 476
Famous rulers: Octavian (entitled Augustus), Tiberius, Nero

The Roman Empire had a massive division from east to west. The two legs represent the Divided Kingdom from east to west - the Eastern Division of Constantinople and the Western Division of Rome.
