PSALM 118:22-26 - 1 PETER 2:4-8

PSALM 118:22-26
1 PETER 2:4-8

When Solomon’s Temple was being built, God had told them in His instructions that they could not cut or quarry any stones, there on the construction premises. They had to be cut elsewhere and brought in. Earlier on in the process, a big stone was transported to the construction site of Solomon’s Temple; and it did not fit, so they set it to the side. They then came to the point where they needed their cornerstone. The found the large stone, brought it in, and it fits.

PSALM 118:22

The Capstone (Cornerstone) fits.

Many of the true Israel will say “He does not fit as the Messiah.” When all the pieces are put together and you and I are being built up into that spiritual house (temple) as living stones, they are going to see that it fits.

First Advent – Stumbling Stone.

Second Advent – Smiting Stone
