The dream was political in nature, but it is talking about Gentile Empires.

The Church of Jesus Christ is made up of New Testament believers; Jew and Gentile alike, but we were born out of Jewish roots.

The dream prophesied Gentile, non-Jewish Empires that would take place between the time of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign and the time of the reign of Jesus Christ.

In Luke 21:24 Christ refers to this time period as “‘the times of the Gentiles.’ ”
