JOHN 6:37-40 NKJV

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
JOHN 6:37-40 NKJV

6:37 The Father gives implies divine election. the one who comes implies human agency. Election precedes human response (Acts 13:48).
6:38 For indicates an explanation of the previous statement. Christ will not cast out any who come to Him because He came to do the Father’s will.
6:39, 40 The will of the Father is twofold: (1) that all who come to the Son will be received and not lost; (2) that all who see and believe on the Son will have everlasting life.
