JOHN 6:2-4 NKJV

Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.  And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.
Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.
JOHN 6:2-4 NKJV

John 6:2, 3 This was a world-renowned center of healing because of its hot mineral springs. Jesus apparently never went to Tiberias to do healing. If He wanted to gain worldwide reputation as a healer, that would have been the place to go. He had a different mission.
John 6:4 This is the second direct mention of Passover in John (2:23). At the time when His Jewish hearers were thinking of unleavened bread and manna, Jesus declared Himself to be the “bread of life” (v. 35).
