THE CREATION OF THE EARTH AND MAN, AND THE FALL OF THE SHINING ONE (Part 1)

THE CREATION OF THE EARTH AND MAN, AND THE FALL OF THE SHINING ONE (Part 1)

“ You are My witnesses,” says the LORD,
“ And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.
I, even I, am the LORD,
And besides Me there is no savior”. (Isaiah 43:10-11)

Often we are asked the question, “Where did God come from?” God did not come from anywhere, he always was. He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 1:8, 21:6, Isaiah 44:6). The word for LORD (יְהוָֹה yehōwāh, Heb.) reveals him as Jehovah the Lord, the Self-Existent and Eternal One. The word God (אֵל ʾēl, Hebrew) reveals Him as the Almighty God, the Great and Powerful One. The extent of God’s power is limitless, He can do anything. In Genesis 18:14 speaking to Abraham, God asked him “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” God can do one thing just as easily as He can do another. He is all powerful.

In referring to the second person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ, Paul in Colossians 1:16 states:

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

As God, Jesus created the material and spiritual universe for His pleasure and glory. In asserting whether they are things “visible or invisible”, Paul is referring to the ranks of angels. In Job 38:7, they are called the “sons of God.” This verse states that the angelic hosts were rejoicing at the creation of the earth, so we know that their creation predates that. The Holy Scriptures clearly indicate that God populated the spiritual realm with angels. Exactly when, we do not know, but Satan, a member of that spiritual realm is seen in the Garden of Eden after God, His Son, Jesus; and the Holy Spirit, had restored the earth back to its original state.
