DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE - PART 3 (Mark 10:11-12)
"So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
The divine ideal for marriage is clearly a life-long bond that unites husband and wife in a "one flesh" relationship (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5). The marriage union is a holy condition founded by God and is not to be dissolved at the will of human beings (Matthew 19:6).

Remarriage after a divorce –
except for legitimate biblical grounds – proliferates adultery. The innocent
party – one whose spouse has committed prolonged, hard-hearted, unrepentant
adultery – may remarry without being guilty of adultery.
