Five Ages of the Cosmos

 

 

1. PRIMEVAL EARTH – Probation (Genesis 1:1, 31; 2 Peter 3:5). Curse imposed on earth (Genesis 3:17; Romans 8:21-22).

2. ANTEDILUVIAN EARTH – Humanistic Anarchy (Genesis 6:5, 11-13). Catastrophic Destruction of “Good” Earth – The Inundation (2 Peter 3:6; Psalm 104:6-9).

3. PRESENT EARTH – Nationalistic Oligarchy (2 Peter 3:7).

4. MILLENNIAL EARTH – Theistic Monarchy (Revelation 20:2, 6). Catastrophic Reconstruction of “Good” Earth – The Tribulation (Psalm 148:4; Isaiah 40:4; Revelation 6-19).

5. NEW (RENEWED) EARTH – Perfection (Revelation 21:1; 2 Peter 3:13). Curse removed from Earth (2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 22:3).
