Christmas in Your Heart

Christmas in Your Heart

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
MATTHEW 6:19–21

“Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places.” As clergyman Roy L. Smith so aptly put it, “He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree.”
This Christmas, challenge your family to give heartfelt gifts to one another.  Give everyone a spending limit and decide as a family to give the difference to your church or to a charitable organization. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to make your loved ones happy. The gift of your presence—not presents—and true words of love are enough to make any heart glad.
