WITCHCRAFT IN THE PEWS (Part 5)
1 PETER 5:7-8
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking forsomeone to devour (1 Peter 5:7-8 NIV, emphasis added)
Be "self-controlled": Do not allow yourself to become intoxicated by the rising demonic trends of spiritism. Remain clear about whom you consult - the Lord Jesus Christ
Be "alert": Remain watchful, and guard yourself against the devices that come to distract your attention away from God.
Notice that the devil looks "for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8). As he roams about, don't open the door for him by dabbling in things that God has warned are detrimental to your spiritual health. He may seek you out, but by remaining steadfast in your beliefs and exercising godly vigilance, he will be forbidden to consume you.
