WALKING WITH GOD

Later I asked the Lord to forgive me but I learned the lesson that walking with God is a process, you will make mistakes and you have to ask Him for forgiveness and move on.

The fact that he was there, and he and Marilyn encouraged me in the faith meant that I was beginning on a good foundation. They would give me books to read and tapes to listen to and almost every Sunday I went to church with them. I guess this was God's way of preparing a nursery school for me as  a baby Christian.

One of the things I learned was that many of the students at the school were not Christians, and in some cases were eagerly trying to go where I had just come from. Many of my habits had not changed, so I did some strange things during those initial weeks. One day during Open House, where male and female students are allowed to go into each others dorms for a period of time, I went with a group of guys into the girls dorm.
