PRAYING GOD'S WORD TODAY
Lord Jesus, You have assured us not to let our hearts be troubled, for in our Father’s house are many dwelling places; if not, You would have told us. You declare that You have gone away to prepare a place for us, and that You will come back and receive us to Yourself, so that where You are, we may be also (John 14:1–3). Therefore, I receive the peace You have left with us—Your peace that You have given to us. I will not let my heart be troubled or fearful since I know that You do not give to us as the world gives (John 14:27). I know that You will care for me—and, yes, even use me for Your glory—all the way to the very end.
