PSALM 116:12-14; 118:6-7, 22-24

Imagine the Son of God singing these words as the seconds ticked toward the cross.

  How can I repay the LORD
     for all his goodness to me?
  I will lift up the cup of salvation
     and call on the name of the LORD.
  I will fulfill my vows to the LORD
     in the presence of all his people. (Ps. 116:12–14)

  The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
     What can man do to me?
  The LORD is with me; he is my helper.
     I will look in triumph on my enemies. (Ps. 118:6–7)

  The stone the builders rejected
     has become the capstone;
  The LORD has done this,
     and it is marvelous in our eyes.
  This is the day the LORD has made;
     let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Ps. 118:22–24)
