PSALM OF DIVINE FAVOR

O Father, you are the One enthroned in heaven
I am surrounded by a lack of respect
I am ridiculed on every side
Contempt has become a stinging arrow toward me
Show me you favor, mercy, and lovingkindness, O LORD
Defend me with your love and compassion
Grace me O God
And I will not cease to give you endless praise
Amen
