FEBRUARY 16

FEBRUARY 16

Then they believed His promises and sang His praise. They soon forgot His works and would not wait for His counsel. Psalm 106: 12– 13

God never forgets His promises to us. In turn, He intends for us as His children never to forget His faithfulness to fulfill them— every single one of them. Over and over in Scripture, God’s people are told to actively remember all He has done on their behalf. In fact, the practice of remembering is so important to the children of God, He often diagnosed their seasons of rebellion as being serious cases of forgetfulness. One of the most powerful motivations for believing God in our present is intentionally remembering how He’s worked in our past.
