THE CREATION OF THE EARTH AND MAN, AND
THE FALL OF THE SHINING ONE (Part 5)

3.) THE RESTORED EARTH
The seven days of the restoration week can be described as
follows:
DAY 1: COSMIC LIGHT (Genesis 1:3-5)
DAY 2: READJUSTMENT OF THE ATMOSPHERE (Genesis 1:6-8)
DAY 3: (a) DRY LAND REAPPEARS (Genesis 1:9-10)
(b) VEGETATION REAPPEARS (Genesis 1:11-13)
DAY 4: SOLAR LIGHT RESTORED (Genesis 1:14-19)
DAY 5: CREATION OF FISH AND FOWL (Genesis 1:20-23)
DAY 6: (a) CREATION OF LAND ANIMALS (Genesis 1:24-25)
(b) CREATION OF MAN (Genesis 1:26-31)
DAY 7: REST (Genesis 2:1-3)
DAY 1: COSMIC LIGHT
Then
God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light,
that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God
called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the
morning were the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5).
When it came time for God to restore
the earth to a habitable condition God began reversing the process He took to
make it uninhabitable. He spoke the light into existence, which dispelled the
darkness of the chaotic earth. What form this light took is not clear, but it
was good for the purposes it was intended to serve. A cycle of light and dark would mean that the
earth was rotating on its axis, so that there was a source of light on one side
of the earth, though the sun was not yet created, hence evening and morning
were the first day. The earth passed out of the “Night” of its history into the
brightness of its “Resurrection Day”. God is the provider of light (2 Corinthians
4:6) and will in eternity be the source of light (Revelation 21:23).
