MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGMENT (James 1:13)
If we do not show mercy to others, we are not walking in fellowship with God and can expect to suffer the consequences of a backslidden condition. Mercy triumphs over judgment! We can rejoice in the face of judgment if we have shown mercy to others, but if we have not shown mercy to those whom we might justly condemn, we will not be shown mercy. If we show mercy to others, the judgment which might otherwise fall on us will be replaced by mercy. Let us remember that the way we treat the least loveable believer is the way we treat the Savior (Matthew 25:40).
