LET YOUR LAUGHTER BE TURNED TO MOURNING AND YOUR JOY TO GLOOM (James 4:9-10)
When God visits us in conviction of sin, it is no time for disrespect. It is a time when we should prostrate ourselves before Him and mourn over our sinfulness, powerlessness, coldness, and barrenness. We should humble ourselves and weep over our materialism, secularism, and formalism. Both inwardly and outwardly, we should manifest the fruit of godly repentance. "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."
