ADULTERERS AND ADULTERESSES (James 4:4)
God wants us to love Him first and foremost. When we love the passing things of this world, we are being untrue to Him. Covetousness is a form of idolatry. It means that we strongly desire what God does not want us to have. This means that we have set up idols in our hearts. We value material things above the will of God. Covetousness is idolatry, and idolatry is spiritual unfaithfulness to the LORD
