Christ seeks to readjust our vision of Him

And while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and gleaming. (Luke 9:29 NASB)

 I believe the more we are willing to receive from Him, the more He is willing to reveal to us. I think the reason Jesus took Peter, James, and John to the mountain was because they were willing to receive greater revelation. How blessed we truly are when we have eyes that are willing to see and ears that are willing to hear. In the words of Jesus: “Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him” (Matt. 13:12).
