JANUARY 26

JANUARY 26

Moses asked God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” Exodus 3: 11

Let’s just say I haven’t been a low maintenance project for God. I have definitely been the problem. Goodness knows, God has done His part. I once told my staff with much laughter that if I die suddenly, my gravestone might appropriately offer this insight into my departure: “God got tired.” I just require lots of work. That’s why I have a little hang-up saying that I am who God says I am. I tend to want to rewrite it: “I strive to be who God says I am.” But that’s not what the Word says. Nope, it says I am already who God says I am. If you have received Jesus as your Savior, so are you.
